Processing Methods

The Data Controller processes User Data in an appropriate manner and takes appropriate security measures to prevent unauthorized access, disclosure, modification, or destruction of the data. Security measures concern technical tools as well as organizational rules and access to data by Users, partners, or collaborators of EDUSIGN, both physically and digitally.

Data processing is carried out using computers or IT tools and follows procedures and organizational modes closely related to the purposes indicated. Access, other than that reserved for the Data Controller, may be granted in certain cases to certain categories of individuals in charge of site operations (administration, sales, marketing, legal, system administration, customer service) or to external parties (such as third-party technical service providers, email services, hosting providers, IT companies, communication agencies) designated, if necessary, as Data Processors by the Data Controller. Location of Data Processing

The Data is processed at the Data Controller’s headquarters and in any other place where the parties responsible for the processing are located. Please contact the Data Controller for further information.

Data Retention Period

Data will be kept for as long as necessary to provide the service requested by the User or as stated in the purposes outlined in this document. The maximum retention period for data collected through audience measurement and analysis tools will be 13 months in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation, unless the User explicitly renews consent within this period.

The User can always request the suspension or deletion of their data from the Data Controller.

Use of Collected Data

User Data is collected to allow the Owner to provide its services, personalize and improve the User experience, and communicate with Users.

Legal Action

User Personal Data may be used for legal purposes by the Data Controller in court or in the stages leading to possible legal action arising from improper use of this Application or related services.

For operation and maintenance purposes, our applications and any third-party services may collect files that record interactions with our applications (system logs) or use Personal Data for this purpose, such as IP addresses. These data are used only for the purposes of the services provided by EDUSIGN.

Payment Processors

We do not collect or store complete information about your credit card on our servers. All payments are securely processed by the Stripe gateway. We only receive confirmation of the payment result. Your credit card details are not communicated to us.

User Rights

The User can also request that the data be transformed into an anonymous format or that any data obtained in violation of the law be blocked or object to its processing for legitimate reasons. The right to data portability allows the User to retrieve the data collected in a machine-readable format for personal use or transfer to a third-party organization. Our website and applications do not support “Do Not Track” requests. However, we do our best to limit tracking if that is the User’s choice. We use the Axeptio service for this purpose.

Changes to this Privacy Policy

The Data Controller reserves the right to change this privacy policy at any time by informing the User on this page. It is recommended to frequently check this page, referring to the date of the last modification indicated at the bottom of this page. If a User objects to any changes made to this Policy, they must stop using our applications and can request the Data Controller to delete their Personal Data.
