Why turn on this alert

Create one alert per stage, on the same group and the same period. The “between 2 values (inclusive)” rule stops a student who has already been called to a meeting from receiving the warning again. Example for school rules set at 2, 4 and 6 unjustified absences per semester.

  • Every student is treated under the same rule.
  • The right letter goes out at the right stage, with no spreadsheet.
  • The sending history documents the procedure. Permanent exclusion remains a matter for your disciplinary body.

Frequently asked questions

With “greater than or equal to”, a student called to a meeting at stage 2 still meets the stage 1 condition. The “between 2 and 3” rule limits each alert to its own stage.

No. It informs the student and starts the procedure. Permanent exclusion is a matter for your disciplinary body.

One per stage, so three, on the same group and the same 6-month period.
