The session details are available in Edusign. Please contact the instructor to get the context before speaking to the student.
The instructor records the removal in Edusign during the class. Without an alert, the information stays on the session sheet and the student office only finds out by chance.
In Edusign, open Attendance › Alerts › Add an alert, then fill in the blocks in this order. Open the Alerts screen in Edusign

The administrators you tick in the Actions block, usually the course's programme manager. With this setting, the student receives nothing.
Create a second alert with a threshold of 2 removals over 6 months: this is the “Repeated removals from class: meeting” scenario.
No. Alerts are recalculated once a day, at 04:15. The email is sent the morning after the removal.
