Alert or automation?
An alert fires above a threshold over a period. To notify someone at every event, with no threshold, use an automation instead.
Automation: teaching hours sent to HR or payroll ›Email works if HR enters payroll by hand. The webhook sends the notification to the URL of your HR tool or your team messaging app.
4 hours over 30 days is an example. Choose the amount from which a check is useful for your HR team.
The automation sends the hours delivered. The alert flags hours not delivered above a threshold.
